A mesh does not: three nodes present one network name and one password, and your phone or laptop hands over between them as you move through the house without you noticing. This Cudy system covers up to 4,500 square feet with its three units, running AC1200 dual-band Wi-Fi - 867Mbps on 5GHz for streaming and 300Mbps on 2.4GHz for range and for the smart devices that only speak 2.4.
