Returns and Warranty Policy 

At irwinsmegastore.ie our main priority is customer satisfaction. However, it is inevitable that issues with products will arise. See the following for our returns and warranty policy.

Products are supplied with 12 month manufacturer warranty unless otherwise stated.

Important: Contact support@irwinsmegastore.ie before returning products.

 

Faulty Products

In the unfortunate event that you receive a faulty product, contact support@irwinsmegastore.ie.

  • Give a detailed fault description and include purchase date or order number. We will supply you with Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA).
  • After receiving the RMA the customer is to send the product back to us with RMA displayed on the exterior of the package.
  • Shipping cost to our premises is payable by customer.
  • Ensure you contact irwinsmegastore.ie prior to sending back any faulty products. This guarantees the processing of your faulty product.
  • It can be arranged for a customer to return the product in person. Again contact support@irwinsmegastore.ie before returning the product.
  • Unofficial software if installed on satellite receivers can void the warranty.
  • We find 99% of faults can be rectified without customer returning the product to us (ie software update, settings etc). This emphasises the importance of contacting support@irwinsmegastore.ie before returning a product. Contacting us also allows to check stock and get a replacement ready if fault cannot be easily resolved.

 

Damaged in Transit

If you receive a product damaged in transit contact support@irwinsmegastore.ie within 24hrs. If products are visibly damaged on receipt, sign accordingly on delivery note.

    If you are shipping an item over €75, you should consider using a track-able shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

    Weee Recycling

    You can return all kitchen appliances including fridges, washing machines, dishwashers, cookers etc as well as smaller items like kettles, toasters, blenders, remote controls, batteries or electric toothbrushes. Even your old bicycle lamps can be recycled!.

    If you are looking to have a WEEE appliance collected please check the box on the product page. Ensure your appliance is clean, disconnected and located outside the building. If the appliance is located inside the building we are not liable for any damage caused during removal. 


        RETURNS POLICY EXCLUSIONS

        We are unable to offer a refund or exchange under this policy on any of the following items:

        • Installed kitchen appliances
        • Special order items
        • Personal or Hygiene products (e.g., electric blankets, electric toothbrush, etc)
        • Headphones
        • Technology products where the tamper proof seal has been broken such as Software, laptops, tablets, wearables, mobile phones, and any other device that captures personal data.
        • We do not offer refunds or exchanges on ex-display items.

        We are unable to offer a refund or an exchange under this policy on the following goods once they have been removed from their packaging in the interest of hygiene:  mattress toppers, headphones, headsets, haircare, menscare, electric blankets, medical devices, and personal care items. Kitchen appliances where installation has already begun and Gift Cards.

        In addition, any technology, Apple products, purchased with a tamper proof seal cannot be returned once this seal is broken. All technology products are covered for faults by our guarantee. The guarantee excludes faults caused by accident, physical damage, neglect, misuse, wear and tear or failure to follow the instructions.

        Additionally, when payment is made using Cryptocurrency, we cannot offer a refund. This is due to fluctuating crypto prices. In the event a refund is requested, a credit note for Irwin's Megastore would be issued. In the event that a product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for the product listed at the incorrect price.

        We recommend you read our Returns Policy in full prior to you making a purchase from our website. 

        Change of Mind/Right to Cancel

        On receipt of your product you have 14 days to return the product to www.irwinsmegastore.ie for a refund. Note: This does not include shipping fee.

        • Before customer returns the product, they must get an RMA.
        • Contact support@irwinsmegastore.ie with fault description and invoice/order number to receive an RMA.
        • Shipping cost to our premises is payable by customer.
        • Refunds will only be paid on the same card/account used to place the order.
        • We do not offer full refunds on items bought in error which are not returned in New Condition. The item must be returned to us unused and still within its original packaging. If the above is adhered to we will refund the cost of the goods excluding shipping costs but we will not refund the return shipping costs of the goods and if the goods are not in the original packaging or missing parts, there will be a 10-30% restocking fee.

        Please note personal care items such as hair, skin and dental care products cannot be returned after use, unless faulty


        Can you store my new Appliances until my Kitchen is ready for installation?

        Yes - we are happy to store your items for a period of time subject to agreement until your new or renovated kitchen is ready for installation. 

        Anything that is held in storage and then cancelled may be subject to a storage fee.
