This Alecto set gives you two PMR-446 handsets that talk directly to each other with a range of up to 10 kilometres in open ground - no signal, no SIM, no call charges. A charging base is included, along with a backlit display, channel scanning and a built-in torch.
Up to 10km open-field range
PMR-446 licence-free radio reaches up to 10 km with clear line of sight. Buildings, trees and hills cut that down, as they do for every two-way radio.
Charging base included
Both handsets drop into the supplied charging base, so the set is ready to go rather than sitting flat in a drawer.
Channel scan and sub-codes
Automatic channel scanning finds a clear channel, and sub-codes let you filter out other users sharing the same one.
VOX hands-free
Voice-activated transmission means you can talk without holding the button, useful when your hands are busy driving or carrying.
Backlit display and torch
The illuminated display shows channel and battery status in the dark, and a built-in flashlight saves digging for your phone.
Belt clips and headset socket
Belt clips are fitted for hands-free carrying, and a 2.5 mm socket takes an earpiece for discreet listening.
