If you work across a desktop, a laptop, a tablet and a phone, the 9010M is the set that stops you owning four keyboards. It pairs with up to four devices - over 2.4GHz wireless or Bluetooth - and you move between them with a single key press, so you can answer a message on your phone with a full-size keyboard and be back in a spreadsheet a second later. The keyboard is 3.9mm thin with an anodised aluminium housing and 78 scissor-switch keys, which type quietly and with far more precision than the mushy membrane keys usually found at this price. The mouse is ambidextrous with five buttons and adjustable DPI up to 2400, and both run for up to twelve months on their supplied batteries.
Four devices, one key press
The keyboard pairs with up to four devices and switches between them instantly - useful the moment you have a work laptop and a personal machine on the same desk. The mouse pairs with two.
2.4GHz and Bluetooth in one set
Use the 2.4GHz receiver where you want a rock-solid connection and no pairing, or Bluetooth 5.0 and 4.0 for tablets and phones that have no USB port to spare. Having both is what makes the multi-device switching genuinely useful.
3.9mm slim aluminium keyboard
