Product Description

A grill and a griddle side by side, each with its own temperature dial

Most health grills make you cook one thing at a time. This one is split down the middle: a ribbed grill plate on one side, a flat griddle on the other, each with its own independent temperature control. Steaks and bacon on the grill, pancakes and eggs on the griddle, both at the right heat at the same time. Ten portions in one go - four on the grill, six on the griddle - which is why it is the one that comes out when there are people to feed.

Grill and griddle, side by side
A ribbed grill plate for searing and draining fat, and a flat griddle for eggs, pancakes and anything that would fall through ribs. Two cooking surfaces, one appliance, one plug.

Two independent temperature controls
Each side has its own dial, so the griddle can hold a gentle heat for eggs while the grill runs hot for steak. This is the feature that makes cooking a full breakfast in one pass actually possible.

Ten portions at once
Four portions on the grill and six on the griddle. It is sized for entertaining rather than for one person, which is where a table-top grill usually falls down.

Sloped plate and drip tray
The grill side is angled so fat and oil run off into the removable drip tray instead of sitting under the food - the original George Foreman idea, and still the reason these grills exist.

Floating hinge
The lid floats to sit level on whatever thickness you put under it, so a thick steak gets even contact across its whole surface rather than being pressed at one end.

Non-stick coated plates
Both plates are non-stick, so food releases cleanly and you can cook without adding oil - and the surfaces wipe down rather than needing to be scrubbed.

Temperature-ready indicator
A light tells you when the plates have reached the set temperature, so you are not guessing and not putting food onto a cold surface.

Large enough to matter
At roughly 57 cm wide it takes up real worktop space while cooking, but it replaces a grill, a frying pan and a griddle pan for a crowd.
