A mains insect trap that uses ultraviolet light rather than sprays or plug-in chemicals. Two 8W UV-A tubes give off the wavelength flying insects navigate towards; when they reach the unit a safe electrified mesh deals with them, and the remains drop into a removable collection tray you empty into the bin. There is nothing to smell, nothing to breathe and nothing to replace but the tubes - which makes it suitable for a kitchen, a conservatory or anywhere food is prepared, and for households with asthma or small children where aerosol insecticides are unwelcome. It covers up to 50 square metres, and it can stand on a surface or hang from the supplied chain.
UV-A light attracts, electrified mesh deals with them
Two 8W UV-A tubes emit the ultraviolet wavelength that flying insects orient towards. The mesh behind the light is electrified and enclosed so it handles the insect without exposing you to the grid.
No chemicals, no smell
No sprays, no vapour, no scented refills. That makes it usable in a kitchen or near food preparation where aerosol insecticides are not appropriate, and in a bedroom without filling it with fumes.

Removable collection tray
