Quest 1.7L 2200W Cordless Jug Kettle with Washable Filter and 360 Degree Base - Black | 35109

Product Description

Six cups, 2200 watts, and a filter you can actually take out and wash

A kettle only has to do a few things properly. This one boils 1.7 litres - about six cups - at 2200W, lifts clear of a 360-degree base so it goes back down whichever way you are holding it, and has water level windows on both sides so you can see what you are pouring regardless of which hand you use. The limescale filter pulls out and washes rather than being a sealed-in mesh you can never get at, the cord stows in the base, and it switches off on the boil as well as having a manual switch. Boil-dry and overheat protection cover the obvious mistake.

1.7 litre capacity
Up to six cups in one boil - enough for a room full of people without going back for a second round.

2200W element
Enough power to get a full jug to the boil quickly rather than standing over it.

360-degree cordless base
Lift it off and put it back from any angle, which matters if you are left-handed or the socket is awkwardly placed.

Water level windows on both sides
Gauges on both sides rather than one, so you can read the level whichever hand you pour with.

Removable washable filter
The limescale filter comes out and rinses under the tap - the part most cheap kettles seal in.

Automatic and manual switch-off
Cuts out on the boil, and you can stop it yourself at any point.

Boil-dry and overheat protection
Shuts down if it is switched on empty - the single most common way a kettle dies.

Hidden cord storage
The cord winds into the base so there is no loop of flex on the worktop.
