The AquaEffect 2.5L jug turns ordinary tap water into clean, great-tasting drinking water. The supplied MAX+ cartridge pairs activated coconut carbon with a unique filter fibre to cut chlorine, limescale, pesticides, microplastics and heavy metals including lead, copper, cadmium and arsenic - so water for drinking, tea, coffee and cooking tastes noticeably better, and your kettle stops furring up. The slim 2.5 litre body is shaped to slot into most fridge door shelves, and the flip-top lid lets you refill one-handed under the tap. One cartridge handles up to 150 litres, roughly 30 days of normal use, which is the equivalent of 100 one-and-a-half litre bottles kept out of landfill.

Activated coconut carbon
Coconut-shell carbon is the more porous and more effective form of activated carbon, and it is what quickly strips chlorine, heavy metals, pesticides and microplastics out of the water. It is the reason filtered water tastes of nothing rather than of the mains.

Unique filter fibre with improved flow
Alongside the carbon, a specially developed filter fibre reduces limescale and water hardness as well as microplastics and heavy metals such as lead, copper, cadmium and arsenic. The improved flow rate means you spend less time waiting for the jug to drain through.

Softer water means appliances last longer
Reducing limescale does not just improve the taste - it slows the scale build-up that kills kettles, coffee machines and steam irons. In a hard-water area that is the part that pays for itself.

Flip-top lid for one-handed refilling
Flip the lid with your thumb and fill straight from the tap without putting anything down. A small thing you use several times a day.

Fits in the fridge door
The 2.5 litre jug is shaped slim deliberately, so it slots into most fridge door shelves rather than taking up a whole shelf inside. Chilled filtered water, always to hand.

150 litres per cartridge
Each MAX+ cartridge filters up to 150 litres, or around 30 days of typical use. Actual life depends on your tap water - the harder the water and the more impurities it carries, the sooner it needs changing.

Replaces 100 plastic bottles
Every cartridge does the work of 100 one-and-a-half litre bottles of water. Cheaper per litre than bottled by a wide margin, and it does not come home from the shop in a crate.
