Intenso Memory Case 5TB 2.5" Portable External Hard Drive, USB 3.2 Gen 1 - Black | 6021513

Product Description

Five terabytes in a pocket-sized case, powered by the cable it came with

Five terabytes is enough for a decade of photos, a full video project archive, or a complete backup of two or three laptops with room spare. The Memory Case puts it in a 2.5-inch enclosure that runs entirely off the USB cable - no mains adaptor, no brick, nothing else to carry. It connects over USB 3.2 Gen 1 (the standard still widely labelled USB 3.0) at up to 85 MB/s read and 75 MB/s write, and works with Windows, macOS and Linux without any software to install.

5TB capacity
Enough for a full system backup, a photo library going back years, or an archive of video projects - without the constant housekeeping a 1TB drive forces on you.

Bus powered
Runs off the USB cable alone. No power brick to pack, no socket to find, which is the whole point of a 2.5-inch portable drive.

USB 3.2 Gen 1
Up to 85 MB/s read and 75 MB/s write. Backwards compatible with older USB ports, just slower on them.

2.5 inch format
Small enough for a jacket pocket or a laptop bag, unlike the 3.5-inch desktop drives that need their own mains supply.

Works out of the box
Windows, macOS and Linux all mount it without drivers or software.

Around 240 grams
Light enough that you will actually take it with you, which is what makes a backup drive useful.
