The HSX4324E is the step up from a basic convector. It still gives you the slim 9cm body and the carry handles, but the controls are digital: a room thermostat you set to a temperature rather than a vague dial position, and a 24-hour timer so the heater is running before you get up and off again once you have left. A lateral boost fan pushes the warm air out into the room instead of letting it drift up the wall, which is what gets a cold room comfortable quickly. Output runs from 800W up to 2400W across three heat levels plus boost, and safety auto-off cuts power if the heater is knocked over.
24-hour timer
Programme the heater around your day on a digital display - warm before you get up, off while the house is empty, on again for the evening. It is the single biggest difference between this and a basic convector.
Digital room thermostat
Set an actual target temperature rather than guessing at a dial position, and the heater holds the room there.
Lateral boost fan
