3.1.2 channels, a wireless sub, the sensible Atmos upgrade
The Q600H is the point where a soundbar stops being a TV accessory and starts being a home cinema. Nine speakers across three front channels, two up-firing height channels and a dedicated wireless subwoofer deliver proper Dolby Atmos height and bass you feel. Wireless Dolby Atmos sends the full signal to a compatible Samsung TV over Wi-Fi, and Q-Symphony recruits the TV's own speakers rather than silencing them.
True 3.1.2 channel Atmos
Three front and surround channels, one subwoofer channel and two up-firing height channels - nine speakers in total. The up-firing drivers bounce sound off the ceiling, which is what puts effects above you rather than in front of you.

Wireless subwoofer included
The subwoofer connects wirelessly and can go wherever it sounds best rather than wherever the cable reaches - behind a sofa or in a corner - and handles the low end so the bar can concentrate on dialogue and detail.
Wireless Dolby Atmos
With a 2022-2026 Samsung TV the Atmos signal travels over Wi-Fi instead of HDMI, so the bar can sit away from the television without a cable run between them.

Q-Symphony
Rather than muting the TV, Q-Symphony uses the television's speakers alongside the soundbar's, adding height and width from the panel itself.
