Indesit 55cm Low Frost Chest Freezer 98 Litre, Garage Safe to -15C - White | INCF984UK

Product Description

98 litres of chest freezer that will sit happily in an unheated garage

A chest freezer holds more for its footprint than any upright, because there are no drawers or shelves stealing space and no cold spilling out every time you open it. This Indesit packs 98 litres into a 54.5cm square footprint, which makes it the one that fits in a garage corner, a utility or under a bench. It is rated to run safely down to -15C ambient, so an unheated outbuilding through an Irish winter is well within scope - a normal freezer would struggle. Low Frost technology slows ice build-up so you defrost far less often, Fast Freeze locks in a fresh batch, and the lid is counter-balanced so it stays where you leave it.

Garage and outbuilding safe to -15C
Rated to keep working in ambient temperatures as low as -15C. Most freezers stop cycling properly in an unheated space in winter and let the contents thaw; this one is built for it.

Low Frost technology
Slows the rate at which ice forms, so you keep more usable space and defrost far less often. It is not frost free, but it is a long way from scraping it out every few months.

Fast Freeze
Drops the temperature hard so a fresh batch freezes quickly rather than slowly, which is what protects the texture of what you put in.

98 litres in a 54.5cm footprint
A chest layout uses the full volume, with no shelves or drawers taking up room - so it swallows more than an upright of the same size.

Counter-balanced lid
The lid stays open where you put it instead of dropping on your arm while you are digging in the bottom.

External touch controls
Set and check the temperature from outside without lifting the lid and letting the cold out.

Storage basket included
One hanging basket keeps everyday items at the top so you are not unpacking the whole freezer to find them.

4-star freezer rating
Rated to freeze fresh food as well as store it.
