Product Description
Over-ear comfort, 40mm drivers and seventy-six hours between charges
Over-ear is the format that lets you forget you are wearing headphones, because the pads sit around the ear rather than pressing on it - and it gives the driver room to work. The Tune 730BT uses 40mm drivers with JBL's Pure Bass tuning, runs 76 hours on a charge, and takes a five-minute top-up for another five hours. Multipoint keeps it connected to a laptop and a phone at the same time, the cups fold for travel, and the whole thing weighs 218g.
40mm drivers
Larger drivers than the on-ear models in the range, with more room to move air - which is where the low end comes from.
76 hours of battery
Weeks between charges in normal use, on a headphone at this price.
Five-minute speed charge
Five minutes on USB-C returns about five hours of playback.
Over-ear fit
Pads that surround the ear rather than resting on it, which is what makes long sessions comfortable and passively blocks some outside noise.
JBL Pure Bass sound
JBL's house tuning - weighted low end that stays out of the way of vocals.
Multipoint connection
Two devices connected at once, switching automatically when a call arrives.
Folding design
The cups fold in for a bag, at 218g.
