Cold press juicing, plus a slicer and a shredder on the same motor
Centrifugal juicers spin fast, heat the juice and foam it. A cold press auger crushes slowly instead, so you get more juice out of the same fruit and it keeps its colour and flavour for longer. The JC152UK does that with a high-torque 150 W motor and an anti-clog auger - and then, because the motor is already there, adds slicing and shredding blades so it doubles as a food prep machine.
Cold press, not centrifugal
A high-torque motor turns a slow auger that crushes and presses rather than shredding at speed. That extracts more from fibrous fruit and vegetables and does not heat or aerate the juice on the way out.
Anti-clog auger
The auger is shaped to keep pulp moving instead of packing solid - which is the single most common complaint about cold press juicers and the reason many end up in a cupboard.
Slicing blade included
Swap the juicing assembly for the slicing blade and the same motor becomes a slicer for vegetables, so it earns its worktop space beyond breakfast.
Shredding blade included
A shredding blade handles cheese, carrots and cabbage - the jobs a box grater makes tedious.
Two pulp filters
Two filters let you choose how much pulp ends up in the glass: one for a clearer juice, one for more body and fibre.
700ml juice jug
A 700 ml jug catches the juice directly, which is enough for two decent glasses in one run.
1.1 litre pulp container
A generous 1.1 litre pulp container means you are not stopping to empty it halfway through a batch.
Quiet in the morning
A slow auger is inherently much quieter than a centrifugal juicer screaming at 15,000 rpm - it can be used early without waking the house.
Removable parts and a cleaning brush
The assembly comes apart for cleaning and a dedicated brush is supplied for the filters, which is where juicers actually get grim.
