TwinTech cooling - a frost-free freezer and a fridge that does not dry your food out

Most frost-free fridge freezers achieve it by circulating dry air through both compartments, which keeps the freezer clear of ice but steadily dehydrates whatever is in the fridge. Electrolux's TwinTech system cools the two compartments separately: the freezer gets the dry circulated air it needs to stay frost-free, while the fridge keeps its humidity so salad, herbs and unwrapped food stay crisp for longer. At 257 litres across a 195L fridge and 62L freezer in a 177cm integrated housing, it is sized for a family kitchen, and it runs at 35dB - quiet enough for an open-plan room.

TwinTech No Frost
Two separate cooling circuits. The freezer stays frost-free and never needs defrosting; the fridge keeps its humidity so food does not dry out. That is the compromise most frost-free appliances make and this one does not.
