Range extenders create a second network you have to keep switching between. A mesh system does not: every unit broadcasts the same network name and your phone hands over between them without dropping the call. The Cudy M1500 does that with Wi-Fi 6 at AX1500 speeds, and unusually for the price every unit has three gigabit Ethernet ports, so your TV, console and desk PC can all be wired.

One network, whole house
Every unit shares a single network name and password. Devices move between units automatically as you walk around, with no dropped video calls at the stairs.

1,201 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, with the efficiency gains of Wi-Fi 6 when there are a lot of devices competing.

Three gigabit ports per unit
Most mesh systems give you one spare port, if that. Three per unit means the TV, the console and a desktop can all run on cable where it matters.

Wired or wireless backhaul
Units can talk to each other wirelessly, or over Ethernet where you already have cable run - wired backhaul frees up the airwaves and improves speed noticeably.

Any unit can be the router
There is no dedicated primary unit, so whichever one you put next to the modem becomes the router. It makes setup and later rearrangement much simpler.
