A 15.6 inch laptop built around a genuinely capable processor rather than a headline price. The Intel Core i7-13620H brings ten cores and sixteen threads at up to 4.9GHz, which is well beyond what a typical mid-range laptop offers, and it is paired with 16GB of fast DDR5 memory and a 512GB NVMe SSD. That combination is what keeps thirty browser tabs, a spreadsheet and a video call all responsive at once. Worth being straight about what it is not: the graphics are integrated Intel UHD and the screen is a matte TN panel, so this is a machine for work, study and everyday use rather than for gaming or colour-critical photo editing. For that job it is a lot of processor for the money, with an 11.5 hour battery and 1.8kg to carry.
