Roberts Revival FM/MW Portable Radio with Manual Tuning, Tone Control and Leather-Finished Wood Cabinet - Black | R260BK

Product Description

The 1950s Revival, still made the old way - a wooden cabinet, a tuning dial and nothing to set up

The Revival is the radio Roberts is known for, and it has barely changed because it did not need to. The cabinet is high-density wood hand-finished in leather, the tuning is a manual dial you turn rather than a menu you navigate, and there is a separate tone control to warm it up or sharpen it for speech. It covers FM and MW, runs from the mains or batteries, and has a headphone socket for late listening. There is no app, no pairing and no firmware - you switch it on and it plays, which for a lot of people is exactly the point.

Hand-finished leather over a wood cabinet
A high-density wood cabinet hand-finished in leather. It is the reason a Revival sounds warmer than a plastic portable and the reason it looks right on a dresser.

Manual dial tuning
A real tuning dial rather than a digital menu. Nothing to learn and nothing to go wrong - you turn it until the station arrives.

Separate tone control
A dedicated tone dial, so you can soften it for music or sharpen it for speech without digging through settings.

FM and MW wavebands
Covers FM and medium wave. This is an analogue set - if you need DAB, look at the Stream or Ortus ranges instead.

Mains or battery
Plug it in at home or run it on batteries in the garden, with 2W RMS driving the speaker.

Headphone socket
A 3.5mm socket for private listening.

Carry handle
A handle built into the cabinet - the Revival has always been designed to be carried from room to room.
