Losing the turntable changes what you can actually put in a microwave. The Russell Hobbs RHFM2365B has a flat 23-litre cavity, so rectangular dishes, large plates and takeaway containers go straight in instead of catching on a rotating plate. Heat is distributed across the whole base rather than around a spinning hub, which is what removes the cold ring in the middle of a reheated plate. Digital controls give five power levels, eight auto-cook menus and a 95-minute timer, with a dedicated defrost setting and a child lock.
Flatbed technology
No turntable and no roller ring. The base is flat, so the full 23 litres is usable and awkward dishes fit - and there is nothing underneath to clean around.
800W with five power levels
800 watts of output with five levels, so you can drop to a low setting for melting or softening rather than only having full power and off.
Eight auto-cook menus
