Samsung Galaxy A17 4G Dual SIM Smartphone 4GB/128GB 6.7" - Light Blue | SM-A175FLBBEUB

Product Description

A 6.7-inch Super AMOLED, a 50MP OIS camera and six years of Android updates - at the budget end

The Galaxy A17 4G puts the parts that actually matter into an affordable phone. The screen is a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED running at 90Hz, so blacks are genuinely black and scrolling is smooth. The main camera is a 50MP sensor with optical image stabilisation - rare at this price and the single biggest factor in usable low-light photos. The 5000mAh battery runs to around 18 hours of video, and Samsung commits to six OS upgrades with security patches through to September 2031, which is longer support than most phones costing twice as much. It is IP54 rated against dust and splashes, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+, and 7.5mm thick at 190g.

6.7" Super AMOLED at 90Hz
An FHD+ Super AMOLED panel rather than an LCD, with a 90Hz refresh rate. That combination - true blacks and smooth scrolling - is what makes a budget phone feel like a good one.

50MP main camera with OIS
Optical image stabilisation on the 50MP f/1.8 main sensor physically counters hand shake, so low-light and indoor shots come out sharp instead of smeared. Very few phones at this price include it.

Triple rear camera
The 50MP main is joined by a 5MP ultra-wide for landscapes and group shots, and a 2MP macro for close-ups, with up to 10x digital zoom.

13MP front camera
A 13MP f/2.0 selfie camera with enough detail for video calls and social posts.

5000mAh battery
Up to 18 hours of video playback, with AI power management that learns your usage pattern. Rated for a minimum of 1,200 charge cycles.

25W fast charging
Supports 10-25W USB Power Delivery, reaching 48% in about 30 minutes. Note Samsung does not include a charger in the box.

Six OS upgrades and six years of security
Android with One UI 7 and a commitment to six major OS upgrades plus security support until 30 September 2031 - this phone will still be getting patches long after most of its rivals stop.

IP54 and Gorilla Glass Victus+
Rated IP54 against dust and water splashes, with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ on the front.

Dual SIM with expandable storage
Dual nano-SIM, with the second slot doubling as a microSD tray taking cards up to 2TB.

Key Island 2.0 design
A 7.5mm frame with Samsung's redesigned Key Island side buttons and a linear camera cluster.
