Samsung Galaxy A17 5G Dual SIM Smartphone 4GB/128GB 6.7" Super AMOLED 90Hz - Grey | SM-A176BZAAEUE

Product Description

5G, a 50MP OIS camera and six years of updates in a 7.5mm body

The Galaxy A17 5G is the A17 with a 5G modem and a slightly quicker processor. Everything that makes the 4G version good is still here - a 6.7-inch 90Hz Super AMOLED, a 50MP main camera with optical stabilisation, a 5000mAh battery and six years of Android security updates - but it adds sub-6GHz 5G on both FDD and TDD bands, so it will keep up with Irish networks as 4G is progressively re-farmed. Storage is 128GB with a microSD slot taking cards up to 2TB, and the body is 7.5mm thick at 192g with an IP54 rating.

Sub-6GHz 5G
Full sub-6 5G support on FDD and TDD bands, with 4G, 3G and 2G fallback - ready for Irish 5G coverage now and for the networks' longer-term plans.

6.7" Super AMOLED at 90Hz
FHD+ Super AMOLED with a 90Hz refresh rate - proper blacks, strong contrast and smooth scrolling.

50MP main camera with OIS
Optical image stabilisation on the f/1.8 main sensor keeps hand shake out of low-light shots, which is the difference between a usable indoor photo and a blurred one.

Triple rear camera
50MP main, 5MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro, with up to 10x digital zoom.

13MP front camera
A 13MP f/2.0 selfie camera for video calls and social.

5000mAh battery
Up to 18 hours of video playback on a charge, with 10-25W USB PD fast charging.

Six OS upgrades, security to 2031
Six major Android upgrades and security patches through to 31 August 2031 - unusually long support at this price.

IP54 and Gorilla Glass Victus
Dust and splash resistant to IP54 with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on the front.

Dual SIM with microSD
Dual nano-SIM, the second slot doubling as a microSD tray for cards up to 2TB.
