Samsung Galaxy A17 5G Dual SIM Smartphone 4GB/128GB 6.7" Super AMOLED 90Hz - Black | SM-A176BZKAEUE

Product Description

5G, a 50MP OIS camera and six years of updates in a 7.5mm body

The Galaxy A17 5G puts the parts that matter into an affordable phone. A 6.7-inch Super AMOLED at 90Hz means genuine blacks and smooth scrolling rather than the washed-out LCD most phones at this price use. The main camera is a 50MP sensor with optical image stabilisation - rare this far down the range, and the single biggest factor in whether an indoor or evening photo comes out sharp. Sub-6GHz 5G on both FDD and TDD bands keeps it current as Irish networks re-farm their 4G spectrum. The 5000mAh battery runs to around 18 hours of video, and Samsung commit to six Android upgrades with security patches through to August 2031.

Sub-6GHz 5G
Full sub-6 5G on FDD and TDD bands with 4G, 3G and 2G fallback - ready for Irish 5G now and for what the networks do with their spectrum next.

6.7" Super AMOLED at 90Hz
FHD+ Super AMOLED with a 90Hz refresh rate. True blacks and smooth scrolling are what make a budget phone feel like a good one.

50MP main camera with OIS
Optical image stabilisation physically counters hand shake, so low-light and indoor shots come out sharp rather than smeared. Very few phones at this price have it.

Triple rear camera
50MP main, 5MP ultra-wide for landscapes and groups, and 2MP macro for close-ups, with up to 10x digital zoom.

13MP front camera
A 13MP f/2.0 selfie camera for video calls and social.

5000mAh battery
Up to 18 hours of video playback, with 10-25W USB Power Delivery charging.

Six OS upgrades, security to 2031
Six major Android upgrades and security patches to 31 August 2031 - longer support than most phones costing twice as much.

IP54 and Gorilla Glass Victus
Dust and splash resistant to IP54 with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on the front.

Dual SIM with microSD
Dual nano-SIM, the second slot doubling as a microSD tray for cards up to 2TB.
