Roberts Stream 219 Portable Internet, DAB+ and FM Stereo Radio with Bluetooth, Spotify Connect and 2.4" Colour Display - Black | STREAM219BK

Product Description

Internet radio, DAB+ and FM in one portable box - with stereo speakers that justify the carry handle

Most portable radios give you one driver and call it done. The Stream 219 has two 3-inch full-range speakers for genuine stereo, physical bass and treble dials so you can tune it for speech or music rather than living with one voicing, and a 2.4-inch colour screen that shows station details, track information and album art instead of a line of scrolling text. It covers internet radio, DAB+, DAB, FM and podcasts, adds Bluetooth streaming, USB MP3 playback and Spotify Connect, and holds 60 presets across the three tuners. It runs from the mains or six AA batteries, so it moves from the kitchen to the garden without ceremony.

Internet radio, DAB+, DAB and FM
All three tuners in one set, so you are not limited to what the local transmitter carries - internet radio opens up stations worldwide, and podcasts are built in.

Dual 3" full-range stereo speakers
Two drivers rather than one, which is what makes a portable radio sound like a stereo rather than a transistor set. The difference is obvious on music.

Physical bass and treble dials
Actual dials, not a menu. Wind the treble up for speech, the bass up for music, and turn both down late at night.

2.4" full-colour display
Shows station details, track information and album art, so you can see what is playing from across the room.

60 presets with five physical buttons
20 internet, 20 DAB and 20 FM presets, with five buttons on the top panel for the ones you actually use.

Bluetooth, Spotify Connect and USB
Stream from a phone over Bluetooth, send music straight from the Spotify app with Spotify Connect, or play MP3s from a USB stick.

Mains or six AA batteries
Runs from the included mains adaptor indoors, or on six AA batteries when you take it outside. Batteries are not included.

USB device charging
The USB port also charges a phone, which is quietly useful on a radio that already lives on the kitchen worktop.

Dual alarms and sleep timer
Two independent alarms with snooze, plus an adjustable sleep timer for falling asleep to the radio.

Free Oktiv app
Roberts' own iOS and Android app browses stations, switches sources and controls playback from your phone.

Aluminium carry handle
A proper aluminium handle - this is a radio designed to be picked up and moved, not just placed.
