Product Description
3K detail, 180 days between charges and a solar panel that tops it up in 45 minutes a day
The Tapo C630 KIT is a complete wire-free outdoor camera: camera, solar panel and mounting hardware in one box, with nothing to wire in. A 6700mAh battery runs up to 180 days on its own, and the monocrystalline solar panel needs under 45 minutes of sun to replace a day's use - so realistically you fit it once and leave it. It shoots 3K 5MP through an f/1.6 lens, pans and tilts to cover the whole scene, and AI picks out people, pets and vehicles specifically rather than triggering on every moving branch. Two built-in spotlights give full-colour night footage to 16 metres, and everything records to a microSD card up to 512GB, so there is no compulsory subscription.
3K 5MP resolution
2880 x 1620 through a 1/2.7" progressive scan CMOS sensor and an f/1.6 lens - enough resolution to identify faces and read detail rather than just register that something moved.
180-day battery with solar top-up
A 6700mAh battery rated up to 180 days of typical use, and a monocrystalline solar panel that replaces a day's consumption in under 45 minutes of sunlight.
Full pan and tilt with AI tracking
340° of mechanical pan and 90° of tilt - a full 360° of coverage once lens field of view is included - with AI that follows a subject across the scene.
Person, pet and vehicle detection
The camera distinguishes people, pets and vehicles from general motion, so you are not woken by a cat or a swaying hedge.
Colour night vision to 16m
Two built-in spotlights give full-colour footage at night to around 16 metres; infrared night vision covers the same distance when you would rather not light the area up.
IP65 camera and panel
Both the camera and the solar panel are IP65 rated and run from -20°C to 45°C, so an Irish winter is well within scope.
Two-way audio with noise cancellation
Speak and listen through the camera, with noise cancellation on the microphone.
78.9dB siren
An onboard siren that can be triggered by a detection rule or manually from the app.
Local storage up to 512GB
Records to a microSD card in the camera - no subscription needed to review your own footage. Tapo Care cloud is optional, with a 30-day trial.
Works with Alexa and Google Assistant
Pull the live feed up on a compatible smart display by voice.
