1500 lumens, 360-degree tracking and 24/7 recording - hardwired and always on

The C710 is the always-on version of the outdoor floodlight camera. Because it is hardwired to the mains rather than running on a battery, it records continuously around the clock instead of only when something triggers it. A 1500-lumen floodlight lights the driveway properly, two PIR sensors watch 165 degrees even when the camera is pointed elsewhere, and the camera pans a full 360 degrees to follow whoever walks in. Wi-Fi 6 keeps the stream stable on a busy network.

1500-lumen floodlight
A 4000K floodlight at 1500 lumens - considerably brighter than the spotlight cameras it competes with, and dimmable in the app so you light your driveway without annoying the neighbours.

24/7 continuous recording
Being hardwired means it records continuously rather than in motion-triggered clips. When something happens off-camera at 3am, the footage either side of it still exists.

PIR watches where the camera is not
Two motion sensors covering 165 degrees and up to 25 feet sit on the floodlight itself. Even with the camera turned to the opposite side, the PIR still detects movement and triggers the light.

360-degree auto-tracking
A 338-degree mechanical pan giving full 360-degree coverage, plus 97 degrees of tilt. Once motion is detected the camera follows the subject across the whole range automatically.

2K at 30fps
2K 3MP (2304 x 1296) at up to 30 frames per second from a 1/2.8-inch sensor - smooth enough to follow someone moving, and detailed enough to be useful afterwards.

Colour night vision
Full-colour night vision with the floodlight on, or infrared out to 98 feet / 30 m when you would rather not light the whole garden up.

Six kinds of AI detection
Person, pet, vehicle, motion, line-crossing and tamper detection, all processed on the device - so notifications mean something rather than firing at every passing cat.

Sound and light alarm
An integrated alarm combines bright light with sound, with the tone, volume, type and duration all configurable in the app.

Local storage up to 512GB
Records to a microSD card up to 512 GB with no ongoing cost, and the card can be password-protected through the Tapo app. Tapo Care cloud is optional rather than required.

Wi-Fi 6
Wi-Fi 6 on 2.4 GHz - a meaningful advantage for a camera streaming continuously on a household network with a lot of other devices competing.

RTSP and ONVIF support
RTSP and ONVIF mean it will integrate with third-party NVR and home-automation systems, not just the Tapo app - unusual at this price.

IP65 and built to mount easily
IP65 weather resistance, rated -20 to 45 degrees C, and it mounts either straight onto an existing wall junction box or onto standard neutral and line wiring.
