Power a camera or access point down the network cable - no socket needed

The awkward part of mounting a security camera or a ceiling access point is rarely the network - it is finding a power socket. A PoE injector solves that by sending power down the same Ethernet cable as the data, up to 100 metres away. This one is fully 802.3af compliant, works with any compliant device, and needs no configuration whatsoever: data in one port, power and data out the other.

One cable for power and data
Power and network travel down a single Ethernet run, so a camera on a gable end or an access point in a ceiling void needs no socket and no electrician.

Up to 100 metres
Delivers power up to 100 m over standard Ethernet cable - the full length of a normal structured cabling run, so the injector can sit in the comms cupboard.

Full gigabit throughput
Both the DATA IN and PWR+DATA OUT ports are 10/100/1000 Mbps with auto-negotiation, so adding PoE does not cost you speed the way older 100 Mbps injectors did.

Automatic power detection
It determines what the connected device actually needs and supplies accordingly - which is also what protects non-PoE equipment plugged in by mistake.

802.3af compliant
Fully compliant with IEEE 802.3af, so it works with any compliant powered device - IP cameras, access points, VoIP phones - rather than one brand's proprietary scheme.

Up to 15.4W output
15.4 W is the full 802.3af class budget, comfortably covering the typical IP camera or access point.

Nothing to configure
There is no software, no web interface and no switches. Plug it in and it works, which is exactly what you want from a component hidden in a cupboard.

Wall mountable
At 110 x 57 x 35.7 mm with a power LED, it mounts on a wall or sits in a rack cupboard out of the way.
