The two things that ruin a toaster are slots too narrow for real bread and a browning dial that only has two useful positions. The TSF01 fixes both: the slots are 36mm wide and self-centring, so a doorstep of sourdough and a thin slice of white both sit square and toast evenly, and there are six browning levels rather than a vague dial. Three functions cover the rest - defrost for bread straight from the freezer, reheat for toast that went cold while you made the tea, and bagel, which toasts the cut side only and leaves the outside soft. The crumb tray is polished steel and slides straight out, and the body is stainless steel in a matte champagne finish.
36mm extra-wide self-centring slots
Wide enough for thick-cut bread, bagels and crumpets, with automatic centring so an uneven slice still toasts evenly on both sides.
Six browning levels
Six distinct settings rather than a dial you have to learn. The illuminated control knob shows where you are.
Bagel function
Toasts one side of the slice only, so a bagel crisps on the cut face and stays soft on the crust.
Defrost and reheat
Defrost takes bread from frozen in one go; reheat warms cooled toast through without browning it further.
Automatic pop-up
Ejects the slices when they are done, so you are not standing over it.
Removable polished steel crumb tray
Slides out for emptying and washing, which is the difference between a toaster you clean and one you shake over the bin.
Stainless steel body with chrome details
