The Meridian II is Targus's long-running business toploader, and it is built around one idea: that the laptop should survive the day even if you do not. A patented SafePort sling suspends the machine inside the padded compartment so it is not resting on the base - if the bag goes down on a hard floor, the laptop is not what takes the impact. Around it is a proper workstation: cell phone pocket, pen loops, business card holder, multiple accessory pockets and an expandable file section for the paperwork. Nylon construction with signature weather mesh on the base, magnetised leather-wrapped handles, and a genuinely comfortable adjustable strap on metal hooks and D-rings rather than plastic clips.

Patented SafePort sling
The laptop sits suspended within the padded compartment rather than resting on the bottom of the bag. Drop the case and the sling absorbs the shock instead of transferring it straight into the machine. This is the feature that separates a business case from a padded sleeve.

Front workstation
