LG USC9S 3.1.3ch 400W Dolby Atmos Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer, Triple Up-Firing Channels and AI Room Calibration - Black | USC9S.DGBRLLM

Product Description

Three up-firing channels and a room-calibration system that actually measures your room

The USC9S is LG's answer to the problem every soundbar has: it is tuned in a factory, not in your sitting room. AI Room Calibration Pro plays test tones and measures what comes back, then corrects for the furniture, the floor and the shape of the space - now across a reference range extended down to 400Hz. On top of that sit three up-firing channels rather than the usual two, which is what gives Dolby Atmos height effects somewhere to go, and a wireless subwoofer carrying the low end. Nine speakers share 400W. On a compatible LG TV, WOW Orchestra plays the TV's own speakers alongside the bar instead of muting them.

3.1.3 channels with triple up-firing drivers
Three height channels rather than the usual two. The extra one fires the centre channel upward as well, which keeps dialogue anchored while the overhead effects play around it.

AI Room Calibration Pro
Measures your actual room with test tones and corrects the output to suit it, now down to a 400Hz reference range. It is the difference between a soundbar tuned for a showroom and one tuned for your sitting room.

400W across nine speakers
Nine drivers between the bar and the wireless subwoofer, sharing 400W.

Dolby Atmos and DTS:X
Both object-based formats supported, so films mixed in either play back with their height and surround placement intact.

Wireless subwoofer
The sub connects wirelessly and only needs a power socket, so it can go where the bass works rather than where the cable reaches.

WOW Orchestra
On a compatible LG TV the television's own speakers play alongside the soundbar rather than switching off - more drivers and a taller soundstage than either manages alone.

WOW Interface and WOWCAST
Control the bar from the LG TV's own menus and remote, and connect to compatible LG TVs wirelessly with WOWCAST.

Triple Level Spatial Sound
Available in Cinema and AI Sound Pro modes, widening the soundstage across three levels.

4K pass-through with ALLM
Passes 4K through to the TV with auto low latency mode. Note VRR pass-through is limited to 60Hz content, so a console running 120Hz VRR should connect to the TV directly.

Streaming built in
Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect, and it works with Google, Alexa and Apple AirPlay 2.
